Professional services delivered in the exclusive Cannes Marina, Côte d’Azur

Smart dredging
Cannes, on the Côte d’Azur, is one of the most iconic and famous cities in the world, attracting visitors and celebrities from everywhere, especially along the La Croisette boulevard with its marina. Large yachts of up to 80 metres regularly berth here. To improve and expand the quay and facilities, we deployed all our dredging expertise with the best integrated solutions.
Together with our partner Eco Systems de Dragage, we carried out this complex project for our client Vinci, the world’s largest construction company, at the famous Quay 21-22. We carefully installed 500 metres of underwater pipelines so that the yachts could remain in their berths and the marina remained operational. Divers secured the pipelines to prevent any damage.

The dredged material was separated into three streams: coarse material (stones, rubble, etc.), sand (reused as beach material), and silt. Two large mobile basins kept the silt fluid and homogeneous. After adding polymers to the liquid silt, the material was pumped to decanting units.

Finally, the dewatered silt was further processed in a filter press and transported by truck to a licensed disposal site.
