Smals’ dredgers are modular and transportable by road, making them suitable not only for open water (harbours, canals, lakes, etc.) but also for enclosed or restricted locations (sand extraction pits, reservoirs, water catchment areas, retention basins, etc.). They can reach both shallow and deep water beds, from seventy centimetres to fifty-five metres. Depending on the project, the machines are equipped with a rotating cutter head or a suction pipe. Noise, energy consumption, and CO₂ emissions are continuously minimised.
