Maintenance dredging at Cadzand marina

Due to natural silting from the channel behind and the North Sea, we ensure that the harbour is restored to its full depth. This keeps both the moorings and the access safe and easily navigable.

When weather conditions permit, the sand outside the harbour is also addressed, so that the accessibility of this beautifully situated harbour can be maximised.

Sustainability plays an important role in this: the dredged material, which is native to the area, is returned behind the breakwater, where it is reintegrated into the ecosystem.

Thanks to the flexibility of our 10-inch cutter suction dredger, the work can be carried out efficiently without the need to move pontoons. Using the swivel ladder, we can easily dredge underneath the pontoons.

Cooperation Agreement on the Expansion of Wippingen

With this agreement, we are taking not only a legal step, but a strategic one as well. We look forward with confidence to the next phase of the expansion and to a sustainable and fruitful partnership with the Municipality of Wippingen.

Our thanks go to everyone — from the initial explorations through to the signing — who contributed to achieving this result. This is what can be accomplished when partners truly work together.

Together, we continue building the future.

Pieter Hartog on the cooperation:
“Our motto Samen Smals certainly applies to our collaboration with the Municipality of Wippingen, its residents and the Emsland district. Together, we have been able to realise this agreement.”
